Parade Registration

Dear Parade Participants/Sponsors:

January 20, 2025, marks a national holiday to honor the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. This is also the day for the 2025 OKC MLK Alliance National Holiday events. There will be live events throughout the Holiday weekend, and as a community, we plan to outdo ourselves again! Each year, we represent what it means to unite as one community. The MLK Holiday Events and Parade brings us together as a sign of UNITY and a demonstration of keeping the dream alive. Our theme this year is short but powerful, 2025 Theme: “Show Love.” We have always and will continue to display the virtues that will honor Dr. King’s life and work! We ask that all parade entries incorporate the theme of the day.

Please be prepared to follow CDC, OKC Parade guidelines and requirements as we gather and celebrate. We ask that everyone be ready to make any needed changes to ensure full compliance with CDC guidelines and the safety and enjoyment of all. We respect your work and efforts and look forward to your continued support and participation in the celebration.

While the parade is a great closing event, we ask that you please join us for all of our in-person festivities: our Job Fair, Silent March, Bell Ringing,

Program, and Parade. There will not be a closing ceremony after the parade. We have a new website and social media page.
