Welcome to the OKC MLK Alliance
We are dedicated to honoring the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. across Oklahoma City and the surrounding metropolitan area. Since our founding in 1980, we have worked to bring the community together through education, celebration, and meaningful civic engagement.
What began as a local observance has grown into the third‑largest Martin Luther King Jr. Parade in the nation, a testament to the passion and unity of the people who call this city home. Each year, we host events and programs that uplift Dr. King’s message of justice, equality, and service, ensuring his dream continues to inspire new generations.
